Police and Firefighters Exhibit

The Police and Firefighters Exhibit is located on the landing on the second floor of the Poplar Bluff Museum. With it we salute our heroes in red and blue.

The Poplar Bluff Police Department, Union Pacific Railroad, the VA Hospital, Three Rivers College, and the National Guard 305th Military Police are on display. Billy Clubs, brass knuckles, police dog pictures, and even Clint Eastwood can be found here.

The Butler County Sheriffs Department is also on diplay. You can see the bars from the old county jail are standing tall here. There is also a display to fallen Sheriff Kearbey. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E exhibit honors the five local troopers who have given their all. The Poplar Bluff and Butler County Fire Departments have equipment on display from their horse drawn wagons to modern fire fighting equipment. Fallen firefighter Walter Weaver is also honored here.
